Privacy
What this site collects about you, which is close to nothing.
Last updated
Template — read this before launch. It describes the site as currently built. Add comments, a newsletter, embedded video or a third-party ad script and this page has to change, and you may then need a cookie banner. Significant EU traffic means it’s worth a lawyer’s eye.
Short version
Static site. No cookies, no third-party trackers, no signup, nothing asked of you.
Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. I get page views, referrers, country and browser in aggregate. I have no way to identify you and no interest in trying.
Hosting
Hosted on Cloudflare, which handles your IP address to serve the page and keep the site up, as any host must. Their privacy documentation covers what they keep.
Email me and I keep that email so I can answer it. You don’t get added to any list, because there isn’t one. Correspondence about a review may be kept as part of the review record — where I publish correspondence with a vendor, the review says so.
Ads and outbound links
Some links to VPS providers and brokers are affiliate links. Clicking one may set a cookie on their site so they know I sent you. I only ever see aggregate commission reports, not your name. This site sets no advertising cookies of its own. See disclosure.
Downloads live on a separate domain. Requesting one shows your IP to that host, same as any download anywhere.
Your rights
EU or UK: you have rights of access, correction and erasure. Realistically the only personal data I hold about you is an email you chose to send me. Ask and it’s gone.
